PanOxyl Acne Creamy Wash 4% Benzoyl Peroxide is the gentler version of PanOxyl's well-known acne wash — the same active ingredient dermatologists recommend, in a creamy, moisturizing base.

Benzoyl peroxide is the most effective over-the-counter ingredient for killing C. acnes, the bacteria behind inflamed breakouts. At 4% it works on face, chest and back while being less drying than the 10% foaming wash, which makes it the better starting point for sensitive or dry skin.

How to use: wet skin, massage onto the affected area for one to two minutes so the benzoyl peroxide has time to work, then rinse. Start once a day and increase to twice daily if tolerated. Use a moisturizer and sunscreen afterwards.
