PanOxyl Clarifying Exfoliant 2% Salicylic Acid is a leave-on liquid exfoliant from the acne specialist brand, made for clogged pores, blackheads and rough, uneven texture.

Salicylic acid at 2% is the maximum over-the-counter strength. It is oil-soluble, so it gets inside the pore to dissolve the mix of sebum and dead skin that forms blackheads and breakouts — something water-based exfoliants and scrubs cannot do.

How to use: after cleansing, apply with a cotton pad or your hands to the face, avoiding the eye area. Do not rinse. Start every other day and build up to daily. Use sunscreen every morning.
