SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil

Centella Light Cleansing Oil is a first step cleanser for dissolving makeup, sunscreen and the day's sebum before a water based wash. Its ingredient list is unusually short, around eleven items, which makes it a straightforward option if you prefer minimal formulas.

Centella asiatica extract is the named active, listed at 10,000 ppm, and it is a well known ingredient for skin that flushes or reacts easily. The oil phase is built on ethylhexyl stearate and cetyl ethylhexanoate with caprylic/capric triglyceride, plus sunflower seed oil, olive fruit oil and jojoba seed oil. Small amounts of bergamot, geranium and rose damascena oil give it a light natural scent, which is worth noting if you avoid fragrant oils.

Apply to dry skin with dry hands, massage for around a minute, add a little water to emulsify until it turns milky, then rinse with lukewarm water and follow with a water based cleanser.
