The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toner

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a leave-on liquid exfoliant that uses glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid, at 7% to loosen dead cells on the surface of the skin. It is one of the simplest ways to add an acid step to a routine, and the large bottle makes it easy to use regularly.

Glycolic acid works on the very top layer, which is why skin looks smoother and brighter with repeated use and why pores can read as more refined. Aloe vera, ginseng root and Tasmanian pepperberry sit alongside the acid to keep the formula comfortable on the skin.

How to use: in the evening, after cleansing, soak a cotton pad and sweep it over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Do not rinse. Follow with your serums and moisturizer. Start a few nights a week and build up only as your skin tolerates it. Always wear sunscreen the next morning.
